Magnetometer survey
SULA Diving's main magnetometer is the Aquascan AX2000.
The AX2000 Proton Magnetometer system is perfect for all types of archaeological and marine survey for anchors, cannon, cables, pipeline and general ferrous material.
The magnetometer downloads data to AQlogEdit on a PC and the data with geo-reference can be viewed post survey.
The data can also be downloaded and post processed in SonarWiz 5 and shown overlaid on a base map or sonar data.
The primary tool for modern wreck detection is a magnetometer. Sula has applied their use for the location and recovery of lost moorings.
